I cannot believe I get to say this finally, but without further ado:
I have completed draft one of the first book. As I always stated these fantasy books of mine were always planned to be a trilogy as the whole story would best fit in three books. A feat that is both daunting and exciting.
‘What is it about?’ I hear you ask. Well, let me begin.
With inspirations across many mythologies and folklore, mainly Celtic (i.e. my own) I have so enjoyed my explorations into Scottish myth and bestiaries to create my world. I explore it through history and language allowing myself to fall a little more in love with Scotland. There are inspirations from both Greek and Norse myth as well.
Most of my fantasy all time loves have a footnote. A homage to extend my love for them. Lord of the Rings, Dragon Age and many great fantasy books I hope to share a shelf with in years to come. This story began life as a homebrew Dungeons and Dragons campaign that has grew and grew since, now after completing draft one I am relieved I kept this one for myself. It works a lot better as a book.
Here is where I would like to give a special shout out to my best friend. We read T. Kingfisher’s Saints of Steel books together and I loved the experience of reading the books with her so much, they wound up helping me building my own Paladin-like characters. One whose voice had eluded me for years.
The only part I am willing to share at the moment is that this is a story about two characters who happen onto magical abilities in a world where magic is sparse. In coming to their abilities, they are faced with a foe unlike anything that has been seen before across the lands and ones that add a dash of horror to my fantasy.
A tale of magic, legend, love, betrayal and tragedy that has existed somewhere dormant in my head for almost a decade. It started off sweet and nice. Only if you know me well, you know I just had to go messing with it to twist it up.

On this page I will post updates on my fantasy books, along with concept art that I have completed. (You’ll find no AI here) It is far, far from being a finished product like Nebula: Revival so it is nowhere near querying stage yet. However, if you are one of the agents I have redirected to my website or a reader interested in my work, you’ll be able to see I have more than just one arrow in my quiver.
